
Level 2 Encouraging Vaccine Uptake
Delivered in partnership with the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH)
Help more people say “yes” to vaccinations with a nationally recognised qualification. This Ofqual-regulated award gives frontline staff the knowledge and conversation skills to address concerns, reduce hesitancy, and increase uptake in their communities. (Ofqual ref: 603/7516/4).
Who it’s for
Patient-facing and community roles: health coaches, care navigators, social prescribing link workers, wellbeing support workers, health champions and community workers. Royal Society for Public Health
Anyone supporting local vaccination programmes across primary care, local authorities, charities and VCSE organisations.

You will be learning:
How vaccination programmes protect individuals and communities, and the key features of UK programmes. Royal Society for Public Health
Common sources of vaccine concern/hesitancy and where to find reliable information. Royal Society for Public Health
Behaviour change models (e.g., COM-B, Health Belief Model) and motivational techniques for effective, person-centred conversations. Royal Society for Public Health
How to run brief interventions that explore readiness, build confidence and signpost to trusted resources.
